The Company is registered with the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”) as a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) and is classified as an Investment and Credit Company – Non-Deposit Taking (ICC-ND). SHPL falls under the Base Layer category pursuant to the RBI’s Scale Based Regulation framework.

SHPL forms an integral part of the Promoter and Promoter Group of Asian Paints Limited, India’s largest and Asia’s second-largest paint manufacturer.
